PALFINGER STRUCTURAL INSPECTION (PSI) started as one of Austria’s first corporate start-ups and combines the agility of a young start-up with the stability of an established enterprise. Since last year we have been focusing on standardizing and optimizing organizational structures and processes. We are searching for a proactive, empathetic and target oriented Assistant to the Managing Director (f/m/d).

Your Responsibilities

Assistance to Managing Director PALFINGER Structural Inspection GmbH (STRUCINSPECT)

  • Administrative and organizational support to Managing Director
  • Maintain overview, prioritize calendar and agenda
  • Organize travel schedules, agendas and invoicing of expenses
  • Proactive support in establishing, compiling, editing and proof reading of presentations and general meeting minutes
  • Facilitate and support communication activities of Managing Director to his Management Team, all Joint Venture Partners & PALFINGER Core organization

Support to Management Team 

  • Support in Management meeting administration, preparation and follow up
  • Support for selected Management Team projects
  • Facilitation of communication activities to STRUCINSPECT team members

Support STRUCINSPECT initiatives

  • Act as sparring partner and support for Marketing team for event, fair and workshop organization
  • Various start-up support activities to quickly push the new venture forward

Your Qualifications

  • Minimum secondary education (HAK, HTBLA), advanced study degree is a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the assistance of senior management
  • Company language is English. Excellent oral and written language skills both in German and English
  • Advanced knowledge in IT tools (MS Office Applications)
  • Positive mindset and approach, enjoys working in a dynamic and innovative environment
  • Able to work with personalities from different cultural and organizational backgrounds and levels
  • Loves to connect team-members in an interdisciplinary and diverse environment. Act as a bridge builder and excellent communicator
  • Self-starter with the ability to balance various complex priorities at once
  • Organizational talent, structured and proactive with good decision taking abilities
  • Motivated, creative way of approaching challenges and handles stressful situations well
  • Comprehensive previous experience in the field of marketing and communications is a plus
  • Experience in a corporate environment is a plus

Minimum gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 43.121,82
